HAWAIIAN SHIRT FRIDAY (BUT NOT TODAY)

HAWAIIAN SHIRT PRESS
If there were too
many Hawaiian shirts around Colombia, and it’s NOT Friday, can
funny hats be far behind?
The king of easy-on-the-ears
Jimmy Buffett brought his tropical smorgasbord to the Colonial
Life Arena in South Carolina last Tuesday.
Perhaps it’s time
to give this guy his due, he’s good at his job, he’s got a rabid
following, and admit it.
You like him.
His songs may not
rock the stadium, but there’s no whining and alot of heart.
Kind of like tropical
country music.
Tropical country
as a new genre?
You heard it here
first, folks.
Besides, it is hard
(but not impossible) to be cheesed off at life if you sit all
the way through “Margaritaville”.
As for me, I won’t
be wearing a Hawaiian shirt today, I have a funeral to attend
(my sister-in-law’s husband’s father).
He may have been
peripheral, geneaologically speaking, but he was a sweet old
man and he will be sorely missed as he was dearly loved.
R.I.P. Mr Herman
Talley!
